About Us

MPL Training is created by the Technology Department at the Massillon Public Library. We are based out of the Main Library in downtown Massillon, Ohio. In addition to technology training, we also provide tech support for MPL staff and patrons.

What we do

Tech classes

In our live technology classes, we break down the most relevant technology topics in an understandable and engaging manner. Topics include security, privacy, mobile devices, photography, websites, and much more. Our classes are currently online only and are streaming live on YouTube for easy access.

One-on-one appointments

Personalized one-on-one meetings are available on an appointment basis. They provide an excellent opportunity to get your tech questions answered at your own pace. One-on-ones are currently conducted remotely via Zoom.

Roundtable discussions

Monthly roundtable tech discussions give library patrons a friendly, inviting forum to ask questions and share their thoughts on technology. Roundtables are usually focused around the themes presented in previous classes and are facilitated online via Zoom.
